A non-returnable Fee of £60 is payable to Register your child at Meadow Lane Children's Nursery, along with a returnable deposit of £60 to hold your child's place. This will be deducted from your invoice on the last month before your child leaves the nursery.
One calendar month's written notice is required to reduce or terminate your contract.
Fees are collected in advance on the 1st day of every month and are to be paid by standing order electronically. Fees are calculated by taking the weekly figure payable X 51 weeks a year, divided into 12 equal payments and invoices are emailed monthly.
Late payment charges occur if fees are not settled by the 7th of the month.
Any additional sessions are added to the following month's invoice. All fees are reviewed yearly.
When a child is collected late, Ofsted stipulate that two members of staff remain on duty for health and safety, therefore, a late charge of £8 per 15 minutes will be applied.
Sibling discount, 10% given to oldest sibling.
Full week discount of 10% is included, applied to any child attending 8am - 6pm Mon to Fri.
The 'Free' Entitlement Funding is a government scheme which allows nurseries to offer up to 30 hours of 'free' childcare each week for all 3 and 4-year-olds and 15 hours to eligible 2 year olds over a period of 38 weeks (term time) or throughout the year, e.g 51 weeks of the year.
Meadow Lane Children’s Nursery is currently registered to offer Free Entitlement Funding (FEF), however there are limited space and this is run on a first come first serve basis.
Government funding only covers the delivery of early education and care only. Most settings charge for additional costs such as lunches and consumables. We are, however, a very unique setting with an abundance of outdoor growing spaces, farm animals and forest school so instead we kindly ask for a contribution towards these amenities and the staff to ensure they run well, we ask parents to make donations considering the amount of funded hours they claim for per week or per month. We accept donations via bank transfer (either weekly or monthly), we ask that references are made with a capital D and followed by the child’s name, i.e. ‘DSally’.
This ensures that we will be able to continue to offer this service to parents and that the children that are eligible for funding do not miss out on any opportunities with us at Meadow Lane.
